Why AI Explorers Lab matters
AI Explorers Lab supports SEND young people aged 11–18 in Colchester to explore artificial intelligence, digital creativity and online safety in a supportive environment.
AI tools can remove traditional barriers to creative expression, helping participants turn ideas into artwork, music, films, characters and animations while building confidence, communication, teamwork and independence.

Celebrating success: Family Tech Day
The programme will culminate in a Family Tech Day for up to 100 family members, carers and community guests. Young people will showcase AI-generated artwork, animation, music and digital projects through exhibitions, live demonstrations, screenings and interactive activities.
